Fort Worth mother kills 4-year-old daughter 'to save her'

The tragic incident took place in Fort Worth, Texas, where a mother killed her own daughter by slashing her throat and then dumping her body in the backyard trash can.

Krystal Lewandowski, the 34-year-old mother, called 911 around 11:35am on Tuesday and reported her 4-year-old daughter missing according to the Fort Worth police.

However, when the 911 operator asked more details from the mother she admitted to slitting her daughter’s throat before wrapping up her body and dumping it in a trash can in the backyard.

Krystal Lewandowski claims the killed her daughter to “save” her from “something worse happening” to her although no further explanation was given regarding her claim. The mother was arrested and charged with capital murder with her bond being set at $750,000.

According to the Child Protective Services, the family had prior history with the agency but did not reveal much details. However, the agency confirmed that there is a 1-year-old boy who lives at the home and has now been taken into state custody.

Paramedics also took the child to the hospital for an evaluation while CPS is working on making sure he is safe and properly taken care for.
