GLASGOW: Six injured and three dead in Glasgow stabbing attack at a hotel in the city center. The police are not treating it as a terrorist attack.
The incident occurred on Friday in Park Inn Hotel on West George Street. The police said the suspect has been shot and an officer is also injured.
The hotel is being used to house about a hundred asylum seekers during the coronavirus pandemic.

Six injured are being treated in the hospital, they are aged 17,18,20,38, and 53. A 42-year-old police officer is also said to be critically injured but is in stable condition.
The situation is under control and the police spokesperson said there is no more danger to the general public.
The initial reports stated three people had been stabbed to death in the stairwell of the hotel, however, the police did not confirm the deaths. The police are not looking for any other suspects involved in the incident and the attack is not being considered as a terror attack.
Statement from Scottish Police Federation states – We are aware of reports a police officer has been stabbed in an incident in Glasgow city centre. Our officials are in attendance to provide all necessary support. Please allow our collages the space to do their jobs. Further updates will be provided when we are able to do so.
