Justice For Zakaria: Six Year Old Boy Beheaded For Being Shia

SAUDI ARABIA: Zakaria al-Jaber, Six Year Old Boy was mercilessly beheaded for being Shia in Madina Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Social Media Campaign Justice For Zakaria has started already.

Taxi driver mercilessly slit his throat with piece of glass and then stabbed him in from of his terrified mom.

Zakaria al-Jaber, his only crime was he belonged to a different group of Islamic faith. Six year old beautiful boy was Shia.

He was butchered last Thursday in broad day light while visiting the holy city of Madina with his mother. They were going to pay their respect to the Holy Prophet Mohammed at his shrine.

Justice For Zakaria

Zakaria al-Jaber was in a Taxi with his mother on their way to Madina to visit the Shrine of Holy Prophet.

The Taxi Driver asked his mother if they were Shia? She reapplied with ‘Yes”.

The Taxi Driver dragged the little boy out of the car near a coffee shop located in Al-Tilal neighborhood.

The Taxi driver is said to have shammed a glass bottle to obtain a shard of glass.

He than mercilessly slit open Zakaria’s throat and stabbed the little boy with the piece of glass. The mother was left screaming and terrified.

The traumatized mum ran after the Taxi driver to save her little boy from the Taxi Driver but is said to have collapsed on the street.

According to witnesses a cop who was present nearby also tried to stop the man but was unable to save the child.

The cop restrained the driver until other officers arrived.

Shia Rights Watch, a Washington DC-based campaign group, has said that so far there isn’t any response from the authorities nor anyone tried to intervene.

The Saudi Shia community stands together as one to mourn the sad demise of Zakaria and to show solidarity with the parents.

The Shia community hold the lack of protection by the Saudi authorities towards Shia population responsible for the horrific incident.

The dominating branch of Islam in Saudi Arabia is Sunni and thus the Shia population have been under military crack down. Many are in prison and facing death sentence.

Human rights groups say:

Practitioners of other forms of the faith – including Shia – are persecuted.
