New Year: Dubai’s RTA Unveils Special Offers and Premium Services for Marine Transport

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has introduced exclusive offerings and premium services for a dazzling New Year’s Eve show in 2024. On December 31, passengers can experience the spectacle along the Dubai coastline aboard marine transit modes, including the Dubai Ferry, Abra, and Water Taxi.

To avail of these special services, interested individuals can contact RTA via the toll-free number (8009090) or email (marinebooking@rta.ae). Dubai Ferry rides are scheduled to commence between 10 pm and 10:30 pm, lasting until 1:30 am the next day. Water Taxi and Abra trips will follow the same schedule. The Marina Mall station in Dubai Marina serves as the starting point for Abra and Water Taxi journeys. The Abra fare is Dh150 per person, and booking the entire Water Taxi costs Dh3,750, with free rides for children under 2 years.

Dubai Ferry trips originate from Marina Mall Station, Ghubaiba Station, and Bluewaters Station, offering silver class at Dh350 and gold class at Dh525. Children aged 2 to 10 receive a 50% discount, and infants under two ride for free. Abra journeys commence from Al Jaddaf Station, Al Fahidi Station, and Al Ghubaiba Marine Transport Station, with a Dh150 fare for adults and free rides for infants under 2 years.

The appeal of Dubai Ferry, Water Bus, Water Taxi, and abras lies in the city’s picturesque coastal line, featuring attractions like the World Islands, Nakheel Islands, Dubai Water Canal, heritage destinations, and luxury hotels. This premium service launch is expected to enhance the excitement of marine transit modes during the New Year’s Eve event.
