Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced special flights to evacuate Pakistani stranded in Ukraine amid the Russian invasion.
According to the details, the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) will operate two flights tomorrow to Poland’s capital of Warsaw. However, the time of the planned flights is still undecided and it will depend on when Pakistanis stranded in Ukraine have arrived in neighboring Poland.
Meanwhile, the administration of the national flag carrier is in constant contact with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the country’s diplomatic mission.
It is pertinent to mention that Pakistan Embassy in Ukraine has managed to evacuate at least 70 students from Kharkiv city, which is one of the main battlegrounds between Ukraine and Russia.

Moreover, the Pakistani ambassador to Ukraine, Dr Noel Israel Khokhar, said that there were about 3,000 students in Ukraine and the bulk of which had been safely evacuated. However, there are about 500-600 left and the Pakistan Embassy in Ukraine is working to safely evacuate them.
The ambassador said that all efforts were being made to evacuate the Pakistanis stranded in Ukraine despite the ordeals.
