Saudi Arabia’s tourism ministry has added six more countries to the Kingdom’s electronic visa (e-visa) scheme, bringing the total to 63.
The six new countries that have been added to Saudi Arabia’s e-visa include:
- Turkiye
- Thailand
- Mauritius
- Seychelles
- Panama
- Saint Kitts and Nevis
The Kingdom’s e-visa, which is a one-year and multi-entry visa, allows tourists to explore Saudi Arabia for up to 90 days and perform activities like Umrah, do business trips, and visit friends or family.

However, there are some restrictions that apply to visitors / tourists on an e-visa, which include:
- A visitor is not allowed to perform Umrah during Hajj season.
- A visitor does not have the permit to work for a wage.
- The visitor must leave the Kingdom before the specified duration of stay.
- Stay duration of multiple entry type visa is shorter.
- Visa renewal is possible only after expiration.
