The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) has introduced a new e-service for issuance of passport, eliminating the need to in-person visits to offices the General Directorate of Passport.

According to the details, the citizens of Saudi Arabia can now request the delivery of passports via Saudi Post, completely eliminating the need for in-person visits.
The move is aimed at streamlining the administrative process and provide efficient and up-to-the-mark services to all Saudi nationals.
Saudi Arabia Passport Application Process
The newly launched e-service for Saudi Arabia passport issuance has a streamlined application process, which reduces hassle for the applicant. In this post, we have provided a step-by-step guide on how you can apply for a new passport using this e-service.
- Login to the new e-service portal (Absher Portal).
- Select “Citizens” option on the home page.
- Choose “Passport Service” from the e-services list.
- Select the desired service you wish to avail.
- Submit your request by filling in the necessary information.
- Get your Transaction Notification after you’ve successfully submitted your Saudi Arabia Passport application.
Multi-Platform Access
Citizens can apply for Saudi Arabia passports through various platforms, including Mobile App, Online Portal, and Service Centers for those who wish you visit in-person.
Saudi Arabia Passport Fee
The new passport fee for Saudi Arabia passports is 300 Saudi Riyals (SAR).
