Saudi Arabia has announced a new short-term work visa facility for firms, which provides more convenience for people as well as businesses.
According to the details, Saudi Arabia has now allowed firms to issue short-term work visa for up to three months, with an option to extend it for an additional three months.
The new visa is available for people of multiple professions, including laborers, engineers, financial specialists, and IT consultants.
How to Apply for Saudi Arabia Short Term Work Visa?
According to the details, in order to apply for the temporary or short term work visa, the applicant must go through the followings steps:
- Log in to the company’s account on Qiwa platform at https://auth.qiwa.sa/sign-in.
- Choose the e-services temporary work visa option.
- Submit the request after filing out the form.
It is pertinent to note that only an employer can submit the application for the temporary work visa on the platform.
According to the details, the short-term work visa will be issued shortly after submission of the application without any need of additional documents. However, the firm applying for the temporary ‘Saudi Work Visa’ must have a valid commercial registration and Nitaqat level of at least medium green.
Furthermore, there must not be any expired work permits and the company must have sufficient credit in the national unified number of enterprise on Absher, which is an online platform providing multiple e-services to the people.
