A tsunami warning has been issued by the US National Weather Service’s Pacific Tsunami Warning Center after a 7.7 magnitude earthquake near Jamaica.

The earthquake was felt even in Miami which is 440 miles away from the epicenter.
The warning says that waves can reach up to 1 meter above the tide level for the coast of Jamaica, Belize, Cuba, Hondorus, Mexico and Caymen Islands.
According to reports, the depth of the earthquake was 10 kilometers which is 6 miles and the epicenter was 125 kilometers (77.6 miles) northwest of Lucea in Jamaica.
At this point there are no confirmed reports of damages or casualties from the earthquake.
