Due to rainy weather conditions, United Arab Emirates (UAE) has announced remote learning for some schools in Ras Al Khaimah (RAK), Umm Al Quwain and Ajman.
According to the details, the government school students in Ras Al Khaimah will engage in remote learning on Friday, November 17, as declared by the Local Emergency, Crisis, and Disaster Management Team.
The decision is aimed at ensuring the safety of both students and school staff, according to the Ras Al Khaimah Police.
In Umm Al Quwain, a similar measure has been taken due to weather fluctuations. The local Emergency, Crisis, and Disaster Management team, in collaboration with the Umm Al Quwain Educational District and the Emirates School Education Foundation, has advised public and private schools to transition to remote learning.
Nurseries will be closed to safeguard students, and universities and colleges are encouraged to adopt flexible work systems, coordinating with students accordingly.
In Ajman, both public and private schools have received notifications about implementing flexible work schedules. Following directives from the local Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management team, these institutions will operate remotely tomorrow.
