The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation in the UAE (Mohre) has issued a directive urging private sector companies to maintain flexible remote work arrangements on February 13 due to ongoing rainfall in the country.
In an announcement made on Monday, the Ministry emphasized the importance of companies implementing necessary measures to ensure that any outdoor work, if deemed essential to resume, adheres to occupational health and safety requirements.
The statement also emphasized the responsibility of companies in safeguarding the health and safety of workers during their commute to and from outdoor work locations.
It is pertinent to mention that many people have faced property damage, especially to cars during bad weather conditions, including hailstorm.
