The UAE’s Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) has introduced a new Emirates ID Card registration form to reflect the visual identity and facilitate customer procedures.
Taking to Twitter, the Authority explained the features of the new Emirates ID Card Registration Form, which has been redesigned in line with the Authority’s visual identity.
The new Emirates ID Card Registration will now have the applicant’s personal photo for visual identification. Furthermore, a QR code has been added to the form in order to help the applicant track the status of the application.
There is now a dedicated part in the new Emirates ID Registration Form to find out the next procedure, while the Authority has also added the name of the company concerned with delivering the ID card.
Meanwhile, there are two other QR codes added to the bottom of the application form – one for the customer voice gateway, while the other one will allow the customer to modify their fingerprint (aka biometric) appointment date.
