Applicants can use the application by the name of UAEICP to get their visa extension.

It must be noted that visitors need to be present in the country during the application process and possess a passport that is valid for at least six months.

Required Documents

  • Entry Permit
  • Colored Personal Photo

If there is any missing information or incomplete documents, the application will be electronically rejected after a period of 30 days. If an application is rejected three times, it will be permanently rejected.

Meanwhile, the refunds will be processed within six months of the application date through credit card payments, or through cheque or bank transfer (for UAE-based banks) within a maximum of five years.

However, in the event of a rejection, the refund will only cover the issuance fee and any financial guarantees provided.

The authority has made a lot of progress to streamline the process of extending visit visas for relatives or friends through its user-friendly mobile app. However, when issuing a visit visa for relatives and friends, you have to meet certain conditions like providing evidence of relationship and reasons for the visit.
